Research Policy
|
Cancer research is at the core of the ASCO mission, and the Society is active in the development of policies and resources to advance research. In cooperation with federal agencies, other professional societies, and researchers in academia and the community, ASCO strives to facilitate the advancement of research at all levels of cancer care. An increasing concern of researchers is obtaining research funding. To address this need, the ASCO Foundation has already awarded over $35 million dollars to investigators and is creating innovative methods to continue support of high quality clinical and translational oncology research projects. ASCO also supports categories of awards to recognize quality researchers and enable attendance at its meetings where research results are presented. Find information about grant and award opportunities in The ASCO Foundation Grants & Awards section.
